Special Education Needs and Disabilities - SEND
Gloucestershire County Council provide information for parents and carers about the provision available for all children aged 0-25 who have Special Educational Needs. It enables parents and carers to access the information in a clear and comprehensive way and enables them to know what support and opportunities are available.
Please follow the links below to find out more about Gloucestershire's Local offer:
As a school, we have put together an overview of the provision that we are able to provide for all children and for those who have additional needs. This is called our 'Provision Map' and it details the provision of support that Cam Hopton is able to offer. A copy is our provision map is available below and more information can be found about this on the' Provision Map' section of the website.
We aim to ensure the education that we provide is of a high standard for all children. Through high expectations for all, we provide an inclusive education where all children are encouraged to acheive highly. To ensure all children continue to thrive and progress we follow a set of aims set out in our Special Educational Needs Policy which can be found below.
For more information about the SEND reforms, below is an open letter to parents from Edward Timpson, Minister for children and families.
